As most of you have seen, in the last few days of using Windows Blinds 6, I've had numerous problems. I've figured out to fix most of them, but I've been getting a CRITICAL error. My Windows Explorer keeps crashing due to WB6, and it's more than annoying. Once this happens, it 1) Closes FreeRAMXP(A RAM monitoring program I use.) 2) Makes it so I CAN'T close ANY window unless I right click on the window in the taskbar, and manually close it. 3) And since it's been happening, it's closed Microsoft Office multiple times, making me lose what I type into my book. This has happened with both 6.02.029 and 6.09c (.118 . This is quite annoying, since I need to restart everytime this happens. Can someone help prevent, fix, or point me in the direction of a more stable version? Thanks. My WB6 info is here.

WB 6.1 is a beta version.  If you untick show pre releases in SDC you should be able to install WB 6.02 instead.

Are you able to provide any of the error messages?

Also has this always happened with WB on your PC, or has it started recently?

I've gotten the crashes with both 6.02 and the beta. The only error message I get is "Windows Explorer has stopped working", but I'll try to take a screen shot next time I see it. And lastly, I only installed my WB6 2 days ago, and I got the first crash within 2 hours of installing.

You should have an entry in the event log (admin tools in explorer - you may need to use classic view)

I found the Admin tools, and I believe I found the error, but I can't copy all of it. What I was able to copy was this:

Faulting application Explorer.EXE, version 6.0.6001.18000, time stamp 0x47918e5d, faulting module WBLIND.dll, version 6.1.0.0, time stamp 0x47b6c833, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00007f67, process id 0x788, application start time 0x01c87a9048122d6d.
