About a week ago, my friend suggested I tweak my paging file, and since then, I've gotten 2 "Out of memory" errors when playing GC2: DA. I just got my second one, and when I clicked "okay", the game crashed. Since I'm guessing it has to do with my paging file, can someone suggest what I should do with it? I have Windows Vista Ultimate with 1.5GB of RAM. Currently it's 1050MB Initial, 2400MB Max.

And if it matters, the report on the GC2 crash said:

I've never really trusted vista and I have some reasons to believe it may be involved. But I do have another theory, It looks like you might have a Glitchy Application file, Or Executable which ever you call it. It's not very common but sometimes there is a miss placed peice of data that doesn't get burned into the disc or a scratch that Interupts the install process. Or maybe it has something to do with a download or patch you got for the game. But one thing i'm certian of, it the application file that's been affected.

Sorry I can't be of more help. Vista has been reported to have Glitches that affect application files but I think they already have a patch for that. Good luck, I hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't think it's messed up files, or whatever. I only started getting these when I changed my paging file size, and I haven't updated the game in a month.

Then you might consider making a static page file of 2GB or so.
Set both values to 2048.

Kay, I'll try it.
